The band performs well-known jazz and entertainment songs in their own original arrangements. The repertoire includes works by composers, including Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, Irving Berlin and Horace Silver as well as the ballads of Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. The founder of Something Blue is the double bass player Łukasz Borowiecki, a laureate of numerous jazz festivals. He took first place at the International Competition of Jazz Bands held in the Czech Usti and first place at the Festival of Jazz Standards Siedlce 2006. Producer and author of music on the album “Revolutions” by the band JAMAL, for which he was nominated for the Fryderyki Award. In 2016, singer Olga Boczar received a Fryderyk nomination in the Jazz Debut of the Year category!
